Catappa bark

• Same properties as Catappa leaves but high in concentration
• Active substance leached are moldy fungicidal and antibacterial
• Known to promote healing in shrimps/fishes
• Many aquarists them to be decorative and like the fact that they don't break down as quickly as IAL
• Place for shrimps to graze on

How to use:

About one gram will treat 75 liters of water

Each tube weighs about 1-2 grams each. So if you have a small tank less then 25 gallons, please do not put more than one full tube at a time. Although the bark has been washed we recommend to rinse them with hot water before introducing into the tank.

For the most powerful effect, put bark directly into aquarium.

But for a milder effect, we suggest soaking the bark for several hours to day before dropping it into a aquarium.

Bark will sink after a few hours. The water may become a little cloudy initially. But this is natural and totally harmless with the correct dosage. It disappears after a while.

After about 4-6 weeks the tanning and other beneficial properties from the bark would be almost completely leeched. The bark can now be replace or left permanently in the aquarium as a decorative piece or place for shrimp to graze. New piece can now be introduced.
